CCT operates freight service between Stockton and Lodi, California, (16 miles). Connections are made with UP, BNSF and STE railroads. CCT also switches the Port of Stockton. Traffic includes food, steel, lumber and general commodities.

History

The company was incorporated August 7, 1905 and opened from Stockton to Lodi, California, in September 1907. The entire line opened in August 1910. Interurban passenger service was discontinued February 5, 1933, and the railroad was dieselized in 1946. The railroad has been owned jointly by BNSF and UP since 1928.
