Union Pacific Railroad Receives Logistics Excellence Award for Customer Service from Toyota Logistics Services

Omaha, Neb., June 10, 2014

Union Pacific Railroad received the 2013 Award for Logistics Excellence in Customer Service from Toyota Logistics Services. The annual honor, which Union Pacific earned for the sixth consecutive year, recognizes the rail carrier that provides Toyota with superior customer service.

The award was based on Union Pacific's ability to provide unmatched customer service by offering all-encompassing support and creative transportation solutions, as well as its strong commitment to shipment quality.

"This award reflects the high priority we place on consistently providing exceptional service and value to our customers through sharing best practices and innovative transportation solutions."

Toyota Logistics Services recognizes outstanding performance of all logistics suppliers, including truck, marine and railroad companies. Its customer service scores rate communication, equipment supply, responsiveness, collaboration, business controls and overall ease of doing business.
