eRailSafe Denial Criteria
Applicants can be denied access to the railroad property if they have:
- Conviction or plea of a felony offense in the last seven years
- Release from a penal institution in the last five years
- Active misdemeanor or felony warrants
- Social Security fraud alerts
- A history of crimes of concern*:
- Crimes against person
- Violent crimes
- Crimes with a weapon
- Theft or fraud
- Drug related crimes
- Background Check canceled by Contractor
