Employee Match Programs

As part of the Union Pacific Community Ties Giving Program, UP is proud to amplify our employees’ generosity to qualified charitable organizations through several employee match programs referred to as GivePLUS:

  • MoneyPLUS: matching employee financial donations.
  • TimePLUS: recognizing employee volunteerism outside of working hours.
  • VolunteerPLUS: providing volunteerism time during working hours.

GivePLUS programs are operated through the Blackbaud YourCause platform. Contributions directed to qualifying organizations through UP’s match programs will arrive in the form of payment from The Blackbaud Giving Fund. Approved match requests are paid out to organizations monthly. Organizations should take note of the associated payment details of the contributing employee (if authorized by the employee).  This is the only source of approved, employee-level contribution details.  

Nonprofit organizations wishing to access the YourCause platform or confirm/update the organization’s profile listing should either log into the YourCause platform or contact: charity@yourcause.com.
