KRR operates freight service from a connection with UP at Hope, AR to Lakeside, OK, (186 miles), then via trackage rights (20 miles) to a connection with BNSF at Madill, OK. History
This is a former BN/St. Louis-San Francisco line. The Paris branch opened in 1887. On July 22, 1987, KRR started operations on the 230-mile former BN trackage in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. RailAmerica purchased the StatesRail subsidiary in January 2002. Genesee & Wyoming Inc. acquired CFNR as part of its RailAmerica acquisition in December 2012.
