Colorado Pacific (CXR) interchanges with Union Pacific at NA Junction (Nepesta), Colorado, east of Pueblo and runs 122 miles east to Stockton, Sheridan Lake and the Kansas border.

History

  • The line was originally the Missouri Pacific main line to Colorado, which was sold to the state in 1998. CXR acquired the line in 2017 and became a handling carrier for Union Pacific in 2023.
  • Soloviev group owns CXR and the grain companies Weskan and Crossroads Ag. 
  • The CXR has common ownership with, but is distinct from the Colorado Pacific Rio Grande LLC (CXRG).
