Columbus Community Celebration

Union Pacific celebrated the 150th anniversary of the railroad reaching Columbus, Nebraska at a community celebration on  June 12, 2017 at the 26th Ave. crossing. The event included a display of Union Pacific’s historic No. 844 steam locomotive and the presentation of a commemorative golden spike from the railroad to Mayor Jim Bulkley.
