Closely Monitoring
We continue to monitor areas affected by heavy rains, flooding and levee breaches across our network. These outages have negatively impacted the network by causing terminal and main line congestion in several key locations. This congestion will likely continue to cause service impacts to customers, even in areas not directly affected by flooding.
Additional rain and flash flood warnings are anticipated for some of the affected areas as well as in Louisiana. Resources remain staged at strategic locations along our network to ensure outages are addressed and repaired as quickly as possible. Customers with shipments being routed around the remaining affected areas can expect delays of 48 to 72 hours. We will provide updates as these routes reopen.
