Shuttle Auction Plan - First Quarter 2026
Dear Union Pacific Customers, Union Pacific intends to offer First Quarter 2026 shuttle capacity in auction beginning on November 3, 2025. Below is a summary of capacity being offered by start month:
UP 1195 Items 100 & 200 - Flex Potato & Onion Shipment Adjustments
Dear Union Pacific Customers, Union Pacific has made selective adjustments for the month of November in Tariff UP 1195, Items 100 & 200.
Price Announcement: UPRR 3274 - Lime
Union Pacific has adjusted prices reflective of current market conditions for UPRR 3274 – Lime. The new prices are effective January 1, 2026. We will continue to analyze market conditions and reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.
UP 2027 Item 1400 Tariff Changes Effective January 1, 2026
Dear Union Pacific Customer, Effective January 1, 2026 rates contained in tariff UP 2027, Item 1400 will increase by 5.5% per car for all published lanes.

Dear Intermodal Customer, The Union Pacific monthly intermodal fuel surcharge is 32% for the month of November 2025, effective November 1st, 2025. Please refer to our fuel surcharge page (user ID and password required) for future publication of our monthly fuel surcharge.

Dear Union Pacific Customers, Union Pacific has made selective adjustments for the month of October in the UP 1195 item 100 & 200 tariff. Item 100 is the flexible pricing document that applies to potato & onion shipments originating from Eastern Idaho. Item 200 is the flexible pricing document for potato & onion shipments from Western Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. All rates are inclusive of fuel and are not subject to Union Pacific's carload mileage fuel surcharge program.

UP 4907 and UP 4908 - Rice Boxcar and Covered Hopper Tariff Renewal Effective October 1, 2025
Dear Union Pacific Customers, The rice boxcar tariff (UP 4907) and covered hopper tariff (UP 4908) renewal will be published and viewable on UP online on September 20, 2025. New rates are effective October 1, 2025. Union Pacific has increased this tariff on a lane-by-lane basis so please view your selective lanes to determine increases.
