Dear Intermodal Customer,
Language in MITA 2, Item 520 - Prohibited and Restricted Articles will be updated effective February 12, 2018.
The main updates are outlined below:
1) Several prohibited commodities are being moved to the restricted commodities section.
2) The surcharge for violation of the Prohibited Articles section will change from $10,000 to $50,000 per incident.
3) The surcharge for violation of the Restricted Articles section will change from $6,000 to $10,000 per incident.
