Ingate Change for Domestic Intermodal from Chicago to Denver and Las Vegas

Dear Premium Customers,
To better align Chicago-area resources with demand, domestic intermodal service from Chicago to Denver and Las Vegas will shift from Global 2 ingate to Global 1 ingate on December 1, 2022. The gate cutoff for this service will improve to 20:00 at Global 1 vs. 17:00 at Global 2, while maintaining the same scheduled availability. We are optimistic this service modification will facilitate a more predictable on-time departure and overall transit experience.
The last day to waybill and ingate from Global 2 to Denver and Las Vegas is November 30, 2022, by 17:00. All waybills and ingate activity thereafter will need to reflect Global 1.
Please note that domestic intermodal service from Las Vegas to Chicago will continue to outgate at Global 2. Please contact your Union Pacific representative with any questions.
