Monitoring Winter Storms

To Our Customers,

Following is an update on potential weather impact to our network.

Midwest
A winter storm is forecast to bring snowfall across Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The heaviest band of snow (12-24 inches) is expected across Nebraska, northern Iowa, southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition, icy and high wind conditions are expected across portions of southern Nebraska and Iowa.

For customers with rail-served facilities located in the affected area, please be sure to clear all walkways and switches of snow and ice prior to the crew arriving. To get more winter weather preparedness tips, visit Winter Weather Action Plan for Rail Shippers.

South
A separate storm is forecast to bring heavy rains, isolated tornadoes, wind gusts of up to 65 mph and possible local flooding in eastern Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.

In anticipation of weather-related impacts to our network, we have positioned resources to address any potential disruptions as quickly and safely as possible. Customers with shipments moving through the impacted states should anticipate delays between 24 to 48 hours.
