Dear Premium Customers,

Union Pacific is pleased to announce new westbound international intermodal on dock service from multiple inland terminals to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach beginning Thursday, March 11. With the current dray challenges between ICTF and the applicable marine terminals, the additional options should help simplify ocean carrier supply chains and also provide a more seamless end to end service. We are also taking action to increase well car supply for on dock terminals and request that customers work with their respective port terminals to minimize the number of eastbound ingates at ICTF to only those lanes where an eastbound on dock option is not available.

Additionally, Union Pacific is nearing completion of an Intermodal Terminal Reservation (ITR) enhancement that will allow ocean carriers to request reservations to any Port of Los Angeles or Port of Long Beach terminal under a single destination titled, "Los Angeles/Long Beach Marine Terminals." This modification will enable customers to more seamlessly shift reservations between marine terminals without having to cancel and request additional reservations. "Los Angeles/Long Beach Marine Terminals" destination is already available from multiple inland terminals and will be available across the remainder of the UP network during the month of March.

Service will be available on March 11 in the following lanes:
