NS Embargo Announcement - International Shipments to Austell, GA

Dear Premium Customer,
The Norfolk Southern (NS) has issued an embargo for all International (20', 40', 45') shipments destined to their Austell, GA terminal via the Memphis and Shreveport gateways.
In order to comply with the embargo, Union Pacific will not accept ingates, on dock releases or new waybills destined to Austell, GA effective 11:59 pm Friday, January 4, 2019. This affects traffic ingating at ICTF or releasing from LA/Long Beach marine terminals.
This restriction will remain in place until the NS discontinues the embargo. Once the embargo has been lifted, customers will need to submit new waybills to Union Pacific.
