Domestic Intermodal Shift from Oakland to Lathrop

Dear Premium Customers,

Following our notification on December 15, 2023, regarding the shift of domestic intermodal lanes from Oakland to Lathrop, we wanted to provide additional details regarding specific dates and times to implement waybilling and ingate changes.

For shipments destined to Northern California:

The last day to waybill and ingate domestic intermodal shipments destined to Oakland from the following origins is listed below. All times are local, CT.
• Dupo, Illinois: The last day to waybill and ingate to Oakland is January 24, 2024, by 23:00.
• Kansas City, Missouri: The last day to waybill and ingate to Oakland is January 25, 2024, by 19:00.
• Marion, Arkansas: The last day to waybill and ingate to Oakland is January 23, 2024, by 19:30.
• Memphis, Tennessee (CSX originating shipments): Please coordinate with CSX on the last day to waybill and ingate to Oakland.
• Twin Cities Intermodal Terminal (TCIT), Minnesota: The last day to waybill and ingate to Oakland is January 22, 2024, by 21:00.

All domestic intermodal shipments from these respective origins will need to be waybilled and ingated to Lathrop following the dates and times listed above.

For shipments originating in Northern California:

The last day to waybill and ingate domestic intermodal shipments at Oakland will be January 31, 2024, by 23:59 PT. This applies to all shipments to the following destinations:
• Dupo, Ilinois
• Kansas City, Missouri
• Marion, Arkansas
• Memphis, Tennessee (interchange shipments destined to CSX)
• Twin Cities Intermodal Terminal (TCIT), Minnesota

All domestic intermodal shipments originating in Northern California destined to these markets will need to be waybilled and ingated at Lathrop beginning February 1, 2024.
