To Our Customers,

Intermodal customers have multiple ways to access a Union Pacific intermodal gate receipt (J1). A J1 provides customers with historical driver/gate information, including container, event, driver and waybill information. In some cases, images may be included for those containers passing through one of our Precision Gating Technology (PGT) intermodal facilities.

Following are the various ways to access a Union Pacific J1:

  • UPGo Mobile App - Drivers have immediate access to gate receipts via our UPGo mobile app. Drivers can also use the app to assign alternative email addresses to receive copies of the receipts. To learn more about downloading the UPGo app and to get started, visit our UPGo information page.
  • Intermodal Gate History (user ID and password required) - Customers with a MyUPRR user ID can obtain a J1 via our Intermodal Gate History platform. This detailed J1 provides customers with historical driver/gate information including container, event, driver and waybill information. Historical receipts are accessible up to 12 months from the time of shipment.
  • Intermodal Driver History - For customers without a MyUPRR user ID, a replacement J1 can be retrieved from accessing our Intermodal Driver History platform and by providing the equipment number, driver's license number, the state issued and the company SCAC. Historical receipts are accessible up to 12 months from the time of shipment.

Thank you for your business and we look forward to optimizing your online experience with Union Pacific.
