Dear Premium Customers,
Union Pacific is pleased to announce a revision to the Weekly Domestic Intermodal Fuel Surcharge effective September 18, 2023. If Department of Energy (DOE) On-Highway Diesel Fuel (HDF) prices exceed $4.50 per gallon, Union Pacific's Weekly Intermodal Fuel Surcharge will increase at a slower pace, resulting in lower fuel surcharge rates. The fuel surcharge remains unchanged at DOE HDF prices below $4.50 per gallon. This revision aligns with the Temporary Weekly Domestic Intermodal Fuel Surcharge that was effective during parts of 2022 and earlier in 2023.
