Container Seal Notification Enhancement

Intermodal customers have the option to receive a notification when a container seal is broken or missing. Customers will receive an email notification if a Union Pacific employee identifies an issue with a seal or if an inspection of the container was conducted and the seal was breached. Some of our participating intermodal ramps may now include photographs of the breached seal with the notification.
Customers can subscribe to this seal exception notification by accessing our Subscription Center, a user ID and password is required. Choose Shipping >> Intermodal >> Seal Exception.
