Alameda Corridor User Fee Increase Effective January 1, 2024

Dear Premium Customers,

In accordance with the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA) agreement, Union Pacific is announcing the Alameda Corridor User Fee increase for 2024 as specified in our Intermodal Terms and Conditions (ITC). The ACTA increases will take effect January 1, 2024, and are outlined below:

(1) Loaded Waterborne Containers:
a. 22' or less - $30.00 per container
b. Greater than 22' and equal to but not greater than 44' - $60.00 per container
c. Greater than 44' but less than 48' - $67.00 per container
d. Equal to 48' but less than or equal to 52' - $72.00 per container
e. Greater than 52' - $79.00 per container

(2) Empty Waterborne Containers:
a. 22' or less - $7.00 per container
b. Greater than 22' and equal to but not greater than 44' - $14.00 per container
c. Greater than 44' but less than 48' - $16.00 per container
d. Equal to 48' but less than or equal to 52' - $17.00 per container
e. Greater than 52' - $19.00 per container

(3) Non-Waterborne Containers (Load or Empty):
a. 22' or less - $7.00 per container
b. Greater than 22' and equal to but not greater than 44' - $14.00 per container
c. Greater than 44' but less than 48' - $16.00 per container
d. Equal to 48' but less than or equal to 52' - $17.00 per container
e. Greater than 52' - $19.00 per container
