Snowy Day on the Plummer Turn

Jay Pospisil

I grew up in Spokane, Washington. These railroad tracks run right by my childhood house. I was driving back home one snowy, overcast day to see the Union Pacific heading back to Spokane after getting some cars from the St. Maries River Railroad. I always loved this stretch of track because my Great Grandfather was a steam locomotive engineer, and used to run on these very same tracks. There is a very comforting feeling about seeing a train on these tracks. Especially working hard in the snow!
