For more than 55 years, the Union Pacific Foundation has upheld the tradition of helping nonprofits build their capacity by supporting new or existing community, cultural, and health and human services initiatives. The Foundation underwent a strategic review in 2017-2018 and will continue its giving efforts with adjustments to funding priorities, application and schedule for the 2018 grant year. The next application period will open in April 2018, with grants awarded in September 2018.
