Union Pacific Foundation Grants $234,500 to 44 Colorado Nonprofit Organizations
Omaha, Neb., April 24, 2015
The Union Pacific Foundation is granting $234,500 in 2015 to 44 Colorado nonprofit organizations.
"These important organizations play a vital role in their respective communities," said Robert W. Turner, Union Pacific senior vice president of Corporate Relations and Union Pacific Foundation president. "Union Pacific is proud to support these groups as they work to enhance the quality of life for communities where many of our employees live and work."
Union Pacific assists nonprofits in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
For more than 50 years, the Union Pacific Foundation has upheld the tradition of supporting community and civic programs. Grants to nonprofit organizations support community, cultural, and health and human services.
To apply for a 2016 grant, visit the Union Pacific Foundation website beginning May 1, 2015, and follow the online application instructions. The application deadline is August 15, 2015.
