What is a VSBL?

Union Pacific requires all Suppliers to maintain a current Vendor Statement of Business and Legal Relationships(VSBL) on record. The VSBL contains information such as business name, tax information, financial information and documentation of any business/legal relationships that could potentially present conflict of interest while doing business with Union Pacific. Click HERE to view a PDF copy of the VSBL document for your reference. This copy is NOT to be filled out. Your company assigned Profile Manager should maintain this document electronically in UP SourceHub.

The VSBL is required to be confirmed/updated by all Suppliers on an annual basis. No payments will be made by Union Pacific to any Suppliers without a current VSBL on record. It is important that all Suppliers confirm/update their VSBL in UP SourceHub at least once per year. Profile Managers receive email notice when updates are required.
