Posted Date: February 11, 2021

To Our Customers,

Union Pacific, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other railroads continue to make progress to address security concerns at the border. As a result, CBP has granted to extend implementation of the trade notice until March 1, 2021. Provided continued progress, the date will be revisited for potential further extension or alternative resolutions.

Union Pacific will continue to work with CBP and other railroads to find the best solution for our customers. We will keep you updated on this ongoing situation. Meanwhile, Union Pacific remains focused on providing quality service to and from border crossings with our interchange partners.
