To Our Customers,

Due to the Cedar Creek fire near Oakridge, Oregon, a curfew for train movement has been implemented in the impacted area. Firefighters will perform a controlled back burn between Oakridge and Cascade Summit, Oregon. The curfew is scheduled for September 11th, 11:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. PST, unless the fire department releases the curfew before then. Customers with rail shipments moving through the impacted area should anticipate a delay of 24 hours.

Our Engineering and Operating teams have strategically positioned our water train to minimize potential fire damage. We continue to work with local fire authorities on any changes to the fire’s path.

We appreciate your patience as we work to safely restore service to this critical area. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Care & Support at 800-272-8777 or your Union Pacific representative.
