To Our Customers,
At Union Pacific, we continually evaluate our accessorial charges outlined in tariff UP 6004. As a result of our most recent review, we will be making thoughtful adjustments to demurrage, private empty car storage, diversions and unit train charges. Modest increases will be effective February 1, 2025. A complete listing of the updated accessorial charges can be found here.
These changes are designed to improve utilization of rail car assets and increase efficiency in your supply chain. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming tariff changes, please contact your sales representative.
