ITR Ingate Window Adjustments

Dear Premium Customers,

In an effort to streamline ramp operations and Intermodal Terminal Reservation ingate windows, Union Pacific is implementing the following changes effective March, 1, 2021:

  • Ingate windows at Group 1 Terminals, as defined in MITA, Items 810/811, will be modified to 00:01 local time, one day prior to cutoff, up to cutoff time on the day of reservation. This change applies to both domestic and international service .
  • Ingate windows at Group 2 Terminals, as defined in MITA, Items 810/811, will be modified to 00:01 local time, two days prior to cutoff, up to cutoff time on the day of reservation. This change applies to domestic business only; international ingate windows at Group 2 Terminals remain unchanged.

In instances where there is service three days per week, or fewer, the ingate window for each respective reservation will begin no later than the prior cutoff.
