What Happens When I Call the EAP Helpline?
When you call the EAP Helpline, you will be asked a series of questions and assessments to help determine the best counseling or resource needs.
After the intake process:
- Employees will be referred to their EAP Manager who will guide them through the treatment provider referral process.
- Family members will be provided a list of treatment provider options within their insurance network.
- Please refer to agreement and nonagreement insurance benefits for more information.
Confidentiality is guaranteed with use of the EAP Helpline, unless disclosure is required by law. As a matter of professional ethics, Union Pacific EAP is staffed by licensed professionals committed to confidentiality.
Upon request, the EAP Helpline is available to have ongoing outreach until a referral connection has been made.
