My Father, A True Union Pacific Man!

George Zinn

I am proud to be the son of a great Union Pacific father!

My daddy, Overton Zinn, worked at the Ogden Yard Office in magazine shipping for probably 40 years. He was rarely late for work, and worked harder and was more dedicated to his job than any man I've known. Daddy was a true role model for me. He died when he was just 62 years old, on Oct. 16, 1966, so we never enjoyed his retirement years.

Daddy's pension helped get me through my first years at the University of Utah. He would be proud of this 150th Anniversary, and I'm sure he would be recognized in the community of Ogden, Utah, as one of the stalwart employees of the company.

ALL ABOOOARRD!!!!!
