Permanent Land Use Controls
Planned Unit Development (PUD) covenants and Special Conditional Use Permits (SCUP) ensure Union Pacific and tenants adhere to rules and regulations desired by the community. Recourse for violating covenants can be incorporated into the PUD agreement.
Example PUD Covenants:
- Deed-restricted permanent landscape buffer
- Screening and landscaping to meet or exceed the city ordinances
- Permanent sound wall
- Traffic management plan
