Move to Oregon

My mother, sister and I boarded the Portland Rose in Savanna, Ill., in June 1969 on our move to Baker, Ore. It was my first trip west and it was amazing! I later learned my great grandfather Harvey Maxwell worked for the UP in Bellingham, Wash., during the early years of the 20th century. The move to Baker was a major event in my life and the UP was a big part of that move. My grandmother Helen Maxwell Moser (her father was Harvey Maxwell, referenced above) was a very special person in my life. So the UP and I go back several years and right now it is the largest single holding in my stock portfolio!!!
