Information about the status of your leave can be found on eHealthSafe:

  1. Go into eHealthSafe.
  2. Click Messages / Attachments to view notifications about your leave, exam or medical service.
  3. Click My Status Update / Submit Medical Documents to check the status of your case.

(*Access eHealthSafe from the UP Homepage by clicking on MORE > SAP Portal (ePayrol)l > eHealthSafe OR from UP.com by clicking on Employees > more > ePayroll)

IMPORTANT: If you have been in an inactive status for greater than 30 days, you may need to contact OSS at 402-544-5555 to reset your username and password in order to access eHealthsafe.

You will go through the following stages throughout your leave:

  1. Initial Review: A new service has been initiated and is pending review. You will receive updates and can access copies of letters and notifications about your leave in the Messages / Attachements.
  2. Awaiting Information from Employee: Additional information has been requested from you, and we are waiting to receive that information.
  3. HMS Service Processing: The employee is either pending an examination from a vendor or has submitted information that is under review.
  4. Review in Process: The initial review of the your information has been completed, and we are in the process of making a final determination.
  5. Determination Made: A decision has been made as to the employee’s current ability to work.

*A notification accompanies each stage. Check your "Messages and Attachments" to find a copy of notifications that have been sent to you.
