History
The company was incorporated August 7, 1905 and opened from Stockton to Lodi, California, in September 1907. The entire line opened in August 1910. Interurban passenger service was discontinued February 5, 1933, and the railroad was dieselized in 1946. The railroad has been owned jointly by BNSF and UP since 1928.
