To provide customers with additional time to prepare for our accessorial changes, Union Pacific is extending the effective date of the previously announced changes to September 1, 2026. These updates are intended to promote proper freight car loading and improve the utilization of all trains.
Please review the updated accessorial charges for a complete list of changes, including those affecting the Unit Train and Improperly Loaded Cars sections.
