Mexico Marketing & Sales Team Organization Update

To Our Customers,

As part of our ongoing commitment to growth and strengthening our commercial footprint, we have implemented a strategic restructuring of our Mexico Marketing & Sales team. The team will remain located throughout Mexico and will report directly through our Bulk, Industrial and Premium teams. This initiative is designed to ensure better alignment and cross-border coordination across our department to reach the Mexican markets. 

With this restructuring, the following appointments have been made:

• Jason Steele will be our new Sr. Assistant Vice President for the Automotive and Mexico teams. With more than  25 years of experience in the railroad and cross-border operations, Steele brings a deep understanding of the Mexican market and a strong track record of building customer-focused solutions. His leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring that our customers in Mexico receive the highest level of support and attention.
• Ashanti Mieres has been appointed to General Director and Country Manager in Mexico. Ashanti will be based in Mexico City and will be focused on strategic initiatives and product development to continue bringing new solutions that help our customers grow and fulfill their evolving transportation needs.

Mexico is a key market for Union Pacific and we are confident that this transformation will allow us to serve you better and create new opportunities for shared growth.

Con más de 25 años de experiencia en operaciones ferroviarias y transfronterizas, Steele aporta un profundo conocimiento del mercado mexicano y un sólido historial en la creación de soluciones centradas en el cliente. Su liderazgo será fundamental para impulsar la innovación y garantizar que nuestros clientes en México reciban el más alto nivel de apoyo y atención.
• Ashanti Mieres ha sido nombrada Directora General y Country Manager en México. Ashanti estará basada en la Ciudad de México y se enfocará en iniciativas estratégicas y desarrollo de productos para seguir ofreciendo nuevas soluciones que ayuden a nuestros clientes a crecer y satisfacer sus necesidades de transporte.
