Grain Products Team Secures Union Pacific’s Competitive Edge
Union Pacific was a dominant force in the renewable diesel market thanks to its Grain Products team, which laid the strategic groundwork that set the railroad up to outpace the market for growth.
Their strategy – which focused on business development, market share gains and collaboration – earned the team Union Pacific's 2024 Summit Award, one of nine presented at the railroad's inaugural CEO Excellence Awards. The railroad’s 2025 CEO Excellence Award winners will be announced in March.
