Raising the Bar: Roseville Terminal Sets a New Standard
Union Pacific’s Roseville Terminal in California delivered exceptional results in 2024, driven by a strong safety culture and collaborative, cross-craft teamwork.
Through daily engagement, hands-on coaching and a commitment to "Stop the Line," the team maintained more than 580 injury-free days while keeping one of the busiest terminals on the West Coast running safely and efficiently.
This team’s disciplined approach drove a system-leading performance, including improvements in service reliability, terminal dwell and productivity. In recognition of this work, the Roseville Terminal team earned Union Pacific's Building America Award, one of nine presented at the railroad's inaugural CEO Excellence Awards.
