The Damage Prevention & Freight Claim Committee has recently approved a revision to the following closed car publication:
- Closed Car Loading Guide Part 2 – Best Practices for Loading Roll Paper in Railcars; revised paragraph 6.6.8.2 (7/25)
The most recent AAR rule changes are contained in the Circulars section of the AAR website. You will be required to sign-up with the AAR to access this information.
For Solicitaions of Comments for Revision:
All comments received within 30 days from the date of the Circular Letter will be considered by the OTLR Committee prior to any action on the implementation of these changes.
