A leading Capitol Hill expert in railroad and transportation issues, Union Pacific’s Printz Bolin zeroes in on relationship-building, helping inform elected officials about key issues and legislation impacting Union Pacific. Bolin, vice president, External Relations, plays a central role in various economic, safety, passenger rail and labor matters, including the latest round of national labor negotiations.

His efforts landed the 32-year employee among Railway Age magazine’s 2023 Readers’ Influential Leaders, an annual list recognizing the top 10 individuals in the industry who readers believe to be most influential.

“Whether a local or national issue, relationships remain at the core of what we do and how we do it,” Bolin said.
