A: Our Steam Team performs comprehensive inspections and maintenance on Big Boy No. 4014 and its support equipment before, during and after excursions. This work includes mechanical inspections, lubrication, boiler maintenance, running gear evaluations and any repairs found during a trip.

A: Our Steam Crew supports the Steam program year-round. Team members maintain and restore equipment, conduct inspections, prepare for future operations, complete required regulatory work, support training activities and help preserve our historic fleet.
