Dear Premium Customer,
Norfolk Southern recently announced network enhancements in the Atlanta market designed to support growing demand. As a result of these changes, Atlanta-bound intermodal traffic ingated at Union Pacific's Los Angeles terminal will transition from the Austell terminal to the Atlanta (Inman) terminal.
Effective September 30, 2026, customers should begin waybilling Los Angeles-originated freight destined for the Atlanta market to Atlanta (Inman) vs Austell, GA. To clarify, the waybill destination should be “Atlanta” from that date on.
Please note that this change does not affect International traffic originating at ICTF or the Los Angeles area on-docks.
